Do I need to be overweight to qualify?
How fast can I start?
If you have bloodwork from roughly the last 6 months, you are only limited by how fast you can book and upload it, and both take just minutes online. Your labs go straight to our medical team for review, at no charge, and the review happens before your first visit. Once you are cleared, your first injection happens right at that visit. No recent labs? We book you a quick blood draw first, and results typically come back within a few days.
Who will I see at my visits?
Your first visit is with a provider from our medical team, who reviews your health history and bloodwork before anything is prescribed. After that, a nurse gives your injection and checks your weight at each weekly visit, and your provider adjusts your dose as you go.
Where can I get medical weight loss in Los Angeles?
You can start a medically supervised weight loss program at Cienega Medical, with three Los Angeles-area clinics in West Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Calabasas. Our medical team evaluates your health and prescribes GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide or tirzepatide when appropriate, so you do not need a separate referral.
