Which Type of Filler is Best For Cheeks?

Restylane Contour is a hyaluronic acid filler made for the cheeks. You see the lift the same day, results typically last about a year, and it can be dissolved if you ever want to adjust it.
Sculptra works gradually. It prompts your skin to rebuild collagen, so volume returns over a few months and can last up to two years. It usually takes more than one visit and cannot be dissolved.

Cheek Filler Procedure
At the treatment appointment, the injector will first clean your face and ensure that your skin is prepped. They will then apply a numbing cream to your cheeks to minimize discomfort. Once numbing cream takes effect, the injector will use a fine needle to inject the filler into your skin.
Depending on the type of filler used and the desired look, multiple injections may be needed. The procedure is quick and only takes about 30 minutes. After the injection, you may experience some swelling and bruising, which should subside within a few days.
Aftercare Instructions
After the procedure is complete, the professional injector will give you aftercare instructions and answer any remaining questions that you may have. It is normal to experience some bruising and swelling after filling injections, but this should subside within a week or two. You should avoid strenuous activity for at least 24 hours after getting injections. And while you can wear makeup 24 hours after the procedure, we recommend waiting 48 hours to ensure optimal results.
In the meantime, avoid touching the injection areas and putting pressure on the treated area. It is also highly recommended that you sleep on your back, so your cheeks don’t get pressed against your pillow. If you follow all of the aftercare instructions, you should see immediate results that will only improve as the swelling goes down.
