Discuss your health goals and symptoms with your physician. Based on your concerns, they’ll order the appropriate panel — from basic wellness to comprehensive hormone and metabolic testing.
A quick, in-office blood draw takes about 10 minutes. Some panels require fasting; your team will let you know in advance.
Results are reviewed by your physician, who identifies patterns, deficiencies, and opportunities for optimization — not just checking if values are “in range.”
Based on your results, your physician designs a personalized protocol that may include targeted supplementation, IV therapy, hormone optimization, or lifestyle adjustments.
IDEAL FOR
Regular bloodwork benefits a wide range of individuals:
Wellness Optimization — Anyone looking to understand their baseline health and optimize from there
Fatigue or Low Energy — Those experiencing persistent tiredness that may have a hormonal or nutritional cause
Weight Management — Individuals starting or monitoring a weight loss program
Hormone Concerns — Those considering or currently on hormone replacement therapy
Treatment Monitoring — Patients on peptide, TRT, or other protocols that require regular lab monitoring
We recommend baseline bloodwork for all new patients starting wellness or medical aesthetic programs.
Blood panel testing provides a detailed snapshot of your internal health — from hormone levels and nutrient status to metabolic markers and organ function. Understanding your bloodwork is the foundation for any effective wellness, weight management, or hormone optimization program.
At Cienega Medical, we offer comprehensive lab panels that go beyond standard checkups. Our physicians review your results in detail, identify areas for improvement, and use your data to design personalized treatment protocols — whether that’s peptide therapy, hormone replacement, IV nutrition, or weight management.

A comprehensive panel typically includes a complete blood count (CBC), metabolic panel, lipid panel, thyroid function, hormone levels (testosterone, estrogen, DHEA), vitamin D, B12, iron/ferritin, and inflammatory markers. Specific panels are customized to your needs.
Some panels require fasting (typically 8-12 hours with only water). Our team will let you know when you schedule whether fasting is needed for your specific tests.
Most results are available within 3-5 business days. Your physician will review the results and schedule a follow-up to discuss findings and next steps.
Standard primary care panels often check minimal markers and flag values only when they fall outside "normal" ranges. Our approach looks at optimal ranges and patterns that can reveal opportunities for improvement before they become clinical issues.
For general wellness, we recommend comprehensive bloodwork annually. If you're on a treatment protocol (TRT, peptides, weight loss), more frequent testing (every 3-6 months) helps monitor progress and adjust dosing.
