How it works

Start with a free consultation

Tell a nurse practitioner about your health history and goals. There is no obligation to buy medication.

Review your options

If treatment is appropriate and you choose to proceed, your provider reviews the medications with you. The review fee is charged once for that encounter, including prescriptions ordered separately that day.

Choose your bottles

Pay for the bottles prescribed for you, with no subscription or automatic refill. Buying several together does not add another fee to the same medication review. You see the total before agreeing.

Pickup with teaching, or delivery

At clinic pickup, we show you how to use your medication and answer your questions. This teaching is included in the review fee. Shipping within California is available when your prescription and delivery address are eligible. We confirm availability and any delivery charge before payment.

Important Information

TB-500 (thymosin beta-4) is not currently FDA-approved, although in July 2026 an FDA advisory committee voted to recommend allowing licensed pharmacies to compound it. At Cienega it is available by prescription only as part of combination peptide blends (such as BPC-157/TB-500), when appropriate, after a consult with our medical team. This page is for general education and is not medical advice.

What Is Thymosin Beta-4?

Thymosin Beta-4 (TB-4) is a naturally occurring 43-amino-acid peptide found in many cells throughout the body, and among the more abundant proteins inside mammalian cells. A synthetic fragment sold as TB-500 corresponds to part of the TB-4 sequence. It is studied in cell biology, including how cells move and repair. TB-500 is not currently FDA-approved; in July 2026 an FDA advisory committee voted to recommend allowing licensed pharmacies to compound it. At Cienega it is available by prescription only, as part of combination peptide blends, after a consult.

  • What is Thymosin Beta-4, and what is it studied for?

Thymosin Beta-4 is a naturally occurring 43-amino acid peptide found in many cells throughout the body. It has been studied in laboratory research for its role in cell structure and movement through its interaction with actin. TB-500 is the name commonly used for a synthetic peptide fragment that corresponds to a portion of the TB-4 sequence. The two terms are often discussed together in peptide literature but are not identical molecules.

  • Is Thymosin Beta-4 FDA-approved?

No. Neither the full Thymosin Beta-4 peptide nor the distinct synthetic fragment commonly called TB-500 is FDA-approved. In July 2026, an FDA advisory committee voted to recommend allowing licensed pharmacies to compound TB-500, and that recommendation is now in the FDA's formal review process. That recommendation is not FDA approval and does not automatically apply to TB-4; discuss available prescription blend options at a free nurse practitioner consultation.

  • What are the risks of Thymosin Beta-4, and who should avoid it?

Your nurse practitioner reviews your health history, current medications and existing conditions before prescribing and will tell you if an option is not a fit. TB-500 is prohibited in tested sport by the World Anti-Doping Agency. Bring your current medication list and any tested-sport requirements to your free consultation.

  • What does it cost, and what is included?

There is no standalone Thymosin Beta-4 bottle. What we prescribe is a blend that includes TB-500, and pricing for the available blends is shown with those options. If you go ahead there is one medication review fee on top of the bottle, charged once for that review even when prescriptions go out as separate orders the same day, and it covers clinic packing and the injection walkthrough. The consultation is free.

  • How do I start?

Book a free consultation with a nurse practitioner, online or at any of our three locations. They go through your health history, your current medications and what you are trying to achieve, then tell you which of the available options, if any, is a sensible fit. Not everyone is a candidate, and if you are, they write the prescription and you pay for your bottles plus the one review fee.

  • Where does my prescription come from?

Your prescription is filled by BelieveRX, a licensed U.S. 503A compounding pharmacy, and prepared for you specifically after your consultation. We do not sell research-grade or gray-market peptides. A licensed pharmacy is not the same thing as FDA approval of the medication itself, and your nurse practitioner will be straight with you about that.

  • How long does one bottle last, and how do refills work?

That depends on what your provider prescribes, so it is not something we can put a number on here. Your nurse practitioner tells you at your review roughly how long a bottle should last for you and when it would make sense to order again. There is no subscription and no automatic refill, so you order again only when you decide to.

  • Can I collect it or have it shipped?

Both. Collect at West Hollywood, Santa Monica or Calabasas, where we pack it for you and show you how to inject it, all covered by the review fee. Or we ship anywhere in California, once we confirm your address is eligible and tell you any delivery charge before you pay.

How Much Does Thymosin Beta 4 Peptide Therapy Cost?

Start with a free consultation. If you proceed, pay for your prescribed bottles plus $49 for a medication review with your provider. The fee is charged once for that review, including prescriptions ordered separately that day. Pickup teaching is included. We confirm any delivery charge before payment.
