How Much Does IGF-1 LR3 Cost?

Every order adds one $49 medical review. Shipping is included, whether you collect at a clinic or have it delivered.

How it works

Start with a free consultation

Tell a nurse practitioner about your health history and goals. There is no obligation to buy medication.

Review your options

If treatment is appropriate and you choose to proceed, your provider reviews the medications with you. The review fee is charged once for that encounter, including prescriptions ordered separately that day.

Choose your bottles

Pay for the bottles prescribed for you, with no subscription or automatic refill. Buying several together does not add another fee to the same medication review. You see the total before agreeing.

Pickup with teaching, or delivery

At clinic pickup, we show you how to use your medication and answer your questions. This teaching is included in the review fee. Prefer delivery? We ship to your home anywhere in California at no extra charge. If you cannot get to a clinic and would like to be shown how to inject, we can do that over video.

What IGF-1 LR3 Is Studied For

IGF-1 LR3 is a modified version of insulin-like growth factor 1, engineered to stay active in the body longer than the natural form. IGF-1 is one of the main signals through which growth hormone drives tissue growth and repair. Research and clinical interest focus on muscle growth, recovery, and metabolic support. It is a research peptide, prescription-only.

Important Information

Most peptides are not FDA-approved for the uses discussed publicly, and are prescribed at the discretion of a licensed provider after an individual evaluation. A peptide is not appropriate for everyone, and individual results vary.

Peptide therapy at Cienega Medical is available by prescription only. You start with a consultation with one of our nurse practitioners, who reviews your health history, your goals, and whether a peptide is appropriate for you. If it is, they write the prescription and we prepare it for your visit. If it is not, they will tell you that too.

What Is IGF-1 LR3?

IGF-1 LR3 is a modified form of insulin-like growth factor 1, a protein the body makes naturally that helps drive growth and tissue repair. The LR3 changes let it stay active in the body considerably longer than the natural version, which is why it is studied for muscle growth and recovery. It is a research peptide, available at Cienega by prescription only after an individual evaluation.

FAQ

  • What is IGF-1 LR3, and what is it studied for?

IGF-1 LR3 is a modified form of insulin-like growth factor 1, distinct from other IGF-1 preparations, changed so that it binds less to the carrier proteins that normally regulate it and lasts longer in the body. There is essentially none. IGF-1 LR3 has not been studied in human clinical trials, and what is known comes from laboratory work, which your nurse practitioner will go over with you at your free consultation.

  • Is IGF-1 LR3 FDA-approved?

No. IGF-1 LR3 is not FDA-approved for any use. The modified form was originally developed as a laboratory reagent for cell culture work rather than as a medicine.

  • What are the risks of IGF-1 LR3, and who should avoid it?

The World Anti-Doping Agency prohibits IGF-1 and its analogs, and use would cause a failed drug test in a tested sport. Your nurse practitioner reviews your health history, current medications and any existing conditions before prescribing and will tell you if it is not a fit. Bring your current medication list to your free consultation.

  • What does it cost, and what is included?

Bottle pricing is shown above. Every order includes one medical review fee, which covers the review and managing your prescriptions, and is charged once even when prescriptions go out as separate orders the same day. The consultation itself is free.

  • How do I start?

Book a free consultation with a nurse practitioner, online or at any of our three locations. They go through your health history, your current medications and what you are trying to achieve, then tell you whether this is a sensible fit. Not everyone is, and if you are, they write the prescription and you pay for your bottles plus the one review fee.

  • Where does my prescription come from?

Your prescription is filled by a licensed U.S. 503A compounding pharmacy.

  • How long does one bottle last, and how do refills work?

That depends on what your provider prescribes, so it is not something we can put a number on here. Your nurse practitioner tells you at your review roughly how long a bottle should last for you and when it would make sense to order again. There is no subscription and no automatic refill, so you order again only when you decide to.

  • Can I collect it or have it shipped?

Both. Collect at West Hollywood, Santa Monica or Calabasas, where we pack it for you and show you how to inject it, all covered by the review fee. Or we ship it to your home anywhere in California, at no extra charge. If you cannot get to a clinic and would like to be shown how to inject, we can set up a video visit and walk you through it.
