Tell a nurse practitioner about your health history and goals. There is no obligation to buy medication.
If treatment is appropriate and you choose to proceed, your provider reviews the medications with you. The review fee is charged once for that encounter, including prescriptions ordered separately that day.
Pay for the bottles prescribed for you, with no subscription or automatic refill. Buying several together does not add another fee to the same medication review. You see the total before agreeing.
At clinic pickup, we show you how to use your medication and answer your questions. This teaching is included in the review fee. Prefer delivery? We ship to your home anywhere in California at no extra charge. If you cannot get to a clinic and would like to be shown how to inject, we can do that over video.

LL-37 is a naturally occurring 37-amino-acid peptide and part of the body’s first-line immune defense. Research has examined its antimicrobial activity, its role in regulating inflammation, and its involvement in wound healing, including wounds that are slow to close. It is a research peptide, prescription-only.
First-line antimicrobial defense
Regulation of the inflammatory response
Wound healing, including stubborn or chronic wounds
Most peptides are not FDA-approved for the uses discussed publicly, and are prescribed at the discretion of a licensed provider after an individual evaluation. A peptide is not appropriate for everyone, and individual results vary.
Peptide therapy at Cienega Medical is available by prescription only. You start with a consultation with one of our nurse practitioners, who reviews your health history, your goals, and whether a peptide is appropriate for you. If it is, they write the prescription and we prepare it for your visit. If it is not, they will tell you that too.
LL-37 is a peptide the human body produces naturally, thirty-seven amino acids long, and it belongs to a family called cathelicidins that form part of the innate immune system, the body’s built-in first line of defense. Its studied roles include disrupting bacterial cell membranes, helping regulate the inflammatory response, and supporting wound healing. Because it is part of the body’s own defenses, researchers have looked at it in the context of chronic wounds and infections that are slow to heal. Most of that work is laboratory and early-stage rather than large human trials. It is not approved by the FDA for any use.

LL-37 is a naturally occurring antimicrobial peptide in the cathelicidin family, part of the innate immune system. Researchers have studied its role in bacterial cell membranes, inflammatory signaling and wound healing, including work on chronic wounds and gut and skin conditions. Human research is mostly early, with much of what is known coming from laboratory work rather than large, long-term human trials. Your nurse practitioner can discuss that research in relation to your concerns at the free consultation.
No. LL-37 is not approved by the FDA for any use. It is prescribed at the discretion of a licensed provider following an individual evaluation, starting with a free nurse practitioner consultation.
LL-37 is not right for everyone. Your nurse practitioner reviews your health history, current medications and any existing conditions before prescribing and will tell you if it is not a fit. Bring your current medication list to your free consultation.
Bottle pricing is shown above. Every order includes one medical review fee, which covers the review and managing your prescriptions, and is charged once even when prescriptions go out as separate orders the same day. The consultation itself is free.
Book a free consultation with a nurse practitioner, online or at any of our three locations. They go through your health history, your current medications and what you are trying to achieve, then tell you whether this is a sensible fit. Not everyone is, and if you are, they write the prescription and you pay for your bottles plus the one review fee.
Your prescription is filled by a licensed U.S. 503A compounding pharmacy.
That depends on what your provider prescribes, so it is not something we can put a number on here. Your nurse practitioner tells you at your review roughly how long a bottle should last for you and when it would make sense to order again. There is no subscription and no automatic refill, so you order again only when you decide to.
Both. Collect at West Hollywood, Santa Monica or Calabasas, where we pack it for you and show you how to inject it, all covered by the review fee. Or we ship it to your home anywhere in California, at no extra charge. If you cannot get to a clinic and would like to be shown how to inject, we can set up a video visit and walk you through it.
