Tesamorelin is a growth-hormone-releasing-hormone analog best known in research for reducing deep abdominal (visceral) fat, the fat that wraps around internal organs. It works by prompting the body to release its own growth hormone. Any use here is individualized and prescription-only.

Tesamorelin has been tested in large placebo-controlled trials in people, mostly adults with HIV and excess belly fat.
FDA approved tesamorelin (Egrifta) in 2010 only to reduce excess belly fat in adults with HIV and lipodystrophy, and its label says it is not for weight loss. Other uses are off-label. Your free consultation with a nurse practitioner is the place to talk through what is and isn’t known.

That depends on what your provider prescribes, so it is not something we can put a number on here. Your nurse practitioner tells you at your review roughly how long a bottle should last for you and when it would make sense to order again. You can order as many bottles as your nurse prescribes while you’re on the call, and when you need more, book another call online or call us. Each call where you order adds one $49 medication review. Nothing renews on its own. If you’d like bottles sent on a regular schedule, ask your nurse: it’s worked out case by case, since everyone’s prescription is different.
