How Much Does Sermorelin Peptide Therapy Cost?

Every order adds one $49 medical review. Shipping is included, whether you collect at a clinic or have it delivered.

How it works

Start with a free consultation

Tell a nurse practitioner about your health history and goals. There is no obligation to buy medication.

Review your options

If treatment is appropriate and you choose to proceed, your provider reviews the medications with you. The review fee is charged once for that encounter, including prescriptions ordered separately that day.

Choose your bottles

Pay for the bottles prescribed for you, with no subscription or automatic refill. Buying several together does not add another fee to the same medication review. You see the total before agreeing.

Pickup with teaching, or delivery

At clinic pickup, we show you how to use your medication and answer your questions. This teaching is included in the review fee. Prefer delivery? We ship to your home anywhere in California at no extra charge. If you cannot get to a clinic and would like to be shown how to inject, we can do that over video.

What Sermorelin Is Studied For

Sermorelin is a growth-hormone-releasing-hormone analog that signals the pituitary gland to make and release the body’s own growth hormone. It has the longest clinical track record of the growth-hormone peptides, having once been an approved medication, and is used off-label in wellness and anti-aging care for energy, sleep, body composition, and recovery.

Support for the body’s own growth-hormone production

Sleep quality and daytime energy

Body composition and fat metabolism

Recovery and general vitality

Important Information

Compounded sermorelin is not FDA-approved. Sermorelin is available at Cienega by prescription when appropriate, after a consult with our medical team. This page is for general education and is not medical advice.

What Is Sermorelin?

Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide consisting of the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It has been studied in the context of how the pituitary gland regulates growth hormone. In the United States, a sermorelin product was previously approved by the FDA as a diagnostic agent for evaluating pituitary function, but that formulation was discontinued and is no longer marketed. Sermorelin is not an FDA-approved drug for general use, and compounded versions distributed today are not FDA-approved.

FAQ

  • What is sermorelin, and what is it studied for?

Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide made up of the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), a hormone produced by the hypothalamus. It is studied in connection with how the pituitary gland and the growth hormone axis function.

  • Is sermorelin FDA-approved?

A sermorelin product was once FDA-approved as a diagnostic agent for assessing pituitary growth hormone function, but it was discontinued and is no longer marketed. Sermorelin is not an FDA-approved medication for general or wellness use, and compounded versions are not FDA-approved. Your nurse practitioner can explain what that distinction means when reviewing your goals.

  • What are the risks of sermorelin, and who should avoid it?

Sermorelin is not right for everyone. At your free consultation, your nurse practitioner reviews your health history, current medications and existing conditions before prescribing, and will tell you if it is not a fit. Bring your current medication list.

  • What does it cost, and what is included?

Bottle pricing is shown above. Every order includes one medical review fee, which covers the review and managing your prescriptions, and is charged once even when prescriptions go out as separate orders the same day. The consultation itself is free.

  • How do I start?

Book a free consultation with a nurse practitioner, online or at any of our three locations. They go through your health history, your current medications and what you are trying to achieve, then tell you whether this is a sensible fit. Not everyone is, and if you are, they write the prescription and you pay for your bottles plus the one review fee.

  • Where does my prescription come from?

Your prescription is filled by a licensed U.S. 503A compounding pharmacy.

  • How long does one bottle last, and how do refills work?

That depends on what your provider prescribes, so it is not something we can put a number on here. Your nurse practitioner tells you at your review roughly how long a bottle should last for you and when it would make sense to order again. There is no subscription and no automatic refill, so you order again only when you decide to.

  • Can I collect it or have it shipped?

Both. Collect at West Hollywood, Santa Monica or Calabasas, where we pack it for you and show you how to inject it, all covered by the review fee. Or we ship it to your home anywhere in California, at no extra charge. If you cannot get to a clinic and would like to be shown how to inject, we can set up a video visit and walk you through it.
