How Much Does Gonadorelin Cost?

Every order adds one $49 medical review. Shipping is included, whether you collect at a clinic or have it delivered.

How it works

Start with a free consultation

Tell a nurse practitioner about your health history and goals. There is no obligation to buy medication.

Review your options

If treatment is appropriate and you choose to proceed, your provider reviews the medications with you. The review fee is charged once for that encounter, including prescriptions ordered separately that day.

Choose your bottles

Pay for the bottles prescribed for you, with no subscription or automatic refill. Buying several together does not add another fee to the same medication review. You see the total before agreeing.

Pickup with teaching, or delivery

At clinic pickup, we show you how to use your medication and answer your questions. This teaching is included in the review fee. Prefer delivery? We ship to your home anywhere in California at no extra charge. If you cannot get to a clinic and would like to be shown how to inject, we can do that over video.

What Gonadorelin Is Studied For

Gonadorelin is a synthetic form of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). It signals the pituitary gland to release luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone, the messengers that drive the body’s own reproductive-hormone production. It is used clinically in fertility and pituitary testing, and alongside testosterone therapy to help preserve testicular size and fertility in men.

Important Information

Most peptides are not FDA-approved for the uses discussed publicly, and are prescribed at the discretion of a licensed provider after an individual evaluation. A peptide is not appropriate for everyone, and individual results vary.

Peptide therapy at Cienega Medical is available by prescription only. You start with a consultation with one of our nurse practitioners, who reviews your health history, your goals, and whether a peptide is appropriate for you. If it is, they write the prescription and we prepare it for your visit. If it is not, they will tell you that too.

What Is Gonadorelin?

Gonadorelin is a synthetic form of gonadotropin-releasing hormone, or GnRH, a hormone the hypothalamus produces naturally. GnRH signals the pituitary gland to release the hormones that in turn signal the testes and ovaries. Gonadorelin has a longer history in conventional medicine than most peptides discussed online: it has been used in fertility medicine and in diagnostic testing of pituitary function. In men receiving testosterone replacement therapy, it is sometimes prescribed to maintain the body’s own hormonal signaling during treatment.

FAQ

  • What is Gonadorelin, and what is it studied for?

Gonadorelin is a synthetic version of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), which the hypothalamus produces naturally. It signals the pituitary gland, which in turn signals the testes or ovaries. Testosterone replacement can suppress the body's own hormonal signaling, and gonadorelin is sometimes prescribed alongside it to help maintain that signaling, though this is not an FDA-approved indication. Whether that approach makes sense for you is a clinical decision to discuss with your nurse practitioner at the free consultation.

  • Is Gonadorelin FDA-approved?

Gonadorelin has been the active ingredient in FDA-approved products used for fertility and for diagnostic testing, though those products are no longer marketed in the United States. Its use alongside testosterone therapy is not an FDA-approved indication. Your nurse practitioner can explain that distinction at your free consultation.

  • What are the risks of Gonadorelin, and who should avoid it?

Gonadorelin is not right for everyone. Your nurse practitioner reviews your health history, current medications and any existing conditions before prescribing and will tell you if it is not a fit. Bring your current medication list to your free consultation.

  • What does it cost, and what is included?

Bottle pricing is shown above. Every order includes one medical review fee, which covers the review and managing your prescriptions, and is charged once even when prescriptions go out as separate orders the same day. The consultation itself is free.

  • How do I start?

Book a free consultation with a nurse practitioner, online or at any of our three locations. They go through your health history, your current medications and what you are trying to achieve, then tell you whether this is a sensible fit. Not everyone is, and if you are, they write the prescription and you pay for your bottles plus the one review fee.

  • Where does my prescription come from?

Your prescription is filled by a licensed U.S. 503A compounding pharmacy.

  • How long does one bottle last, and how do refills work?

That depends on what your provider prescribes, so it is not something we can put a number on here. Your nurse practitioner tells you at your review roughly how long a bottle should last for you and when it would make sense to order again. There is no subscription and no automatic refill, so you order again only when you decide to.

  • Can I collect it or have it shipped?

Both. Collect at West Hollywood, Santa Monica or Calabasas, where we pack it for you and show you how to inject it, all covered by the review fee. Or we ship it to your home anywhere in California, at no extra charge. If you cannot get to a clinic and would like to be shown how to inject, we can set up a video visit and walk you through it.
